What does success mean to you?

A wonderful career, a beautiful home, a car, a boat, unlimited holidays? Having wonderful relationship, family, loyal friends? Being held in awe and recognition by friends, colleagues and society. ?  Freedom from a job? Having a successful business? Living and creating the life of your dreams? There are probably as many definitions of success as there are people in this world

One definition of success is as follows:

To laugh often and love much;
To win the respect of intelligent persons and
endure the betrayal of false friends;
To give of one's self
without the slightest thought of return
To have accomplished a task, whether
By a healthy child, a rescued soul, a
garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with
enthusiasm and sung with exaltation;
To know that even one life has
breathed easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
