The pursuit of happiness is yours for the taking. It is achievable, by being happy where you are right now, and not waiting for the right time, the right place, the right person. It is to be pursued now. A lot of people cannot be happy- because they do not know how. There are road blocks like low self esteem, and ghosts from the past that haunt them. Self limiting thoughts, beliefs, and erroneous messages tell them that they do not deserve to be happy. Guilt and messages from past prevail.
The reverse is true. A person who only seeks happiness and short term gratification without consideration for others, will only find that it eludes them.
Goal setting is powerful. It can get you to where you want to go. Most success formulas suggest that you formulate your goals in order to get where you want to be. They ask you to dream of that dream car, house, boat, lifestyle. They tell you to ask yourself what you want then set your goals in order to get what you want. But it seems there is something missing. All the goal setting software and plans will not work if the goals are unexamined, in the larger context.

Think. Yes. And you will. This piece, written in the present tense and in the active voice, creates the platform for positive actions and thoughts. It is the model for which positive affirmations should be created.
Each of us has our own positive voice, that is affirming and powerful. Say it, repeat it, do it and you will be. It all starts with the thoughts.

The industrial age is over. No longer does a good job or a college education guarantee you your income, the meal on your dinner table forever. Change takes place faster than you can blink your eyelid. There is also a dichotomy. The rich are getting richer, and the poor getting poorer. It is a worrying trend. Are you comfortable? Are you snugly curled up in your comfort zone in your personal life and comfortably doing what you've always been doing? Are you reluctant to move out of your situation even though you know there is something better?
Your comfort zone denotes the personal space, or way of doing things, in which you get comfortable, whether it's good or bad. You may not want to change because you are afraid of disrupting things as they are, for fear that things may turn out worse. You may feel it is too big a step to take, too much to suffer.
The Law of Attraction states that anything is within your possibility if you focus on it enough. And to attract success, wealth, blessings and to get rich, one has to have the right mindset and premise. Not to attract the wrong things. And that premise is love.

One of the commonest causes of unhappiness is that people are attempting to live their lives in the future. They are waiting… for something to happen first, like when they get married, or get a better job, when they see their debts paid, or when they see their children through college.
